News Reporters: CAMPUS NEWSLETTER Grades: 2nd-6th $165.00 New this summer! Afternoon camps need some ambitious news reporters to cover all of their doings. You’ll be creating an afternoon edition that is sure to provide complete coverage of all that is happening at Imagine That! This will be your newspaper — that means with lots of your views and thoughts on life events and camp events. We’ll have deadlines to meet. We’ll learn interviewing skills; using the computer to design headlines and articles; honing our skills as we use the internet to review the latest kid movie and books and maybe review some favorite kid friendly vacation spots, some photography work; plenty of teamwork, and we’ll set aside a place to show our work. Papers will be distributed weekly ... So, join the fun and be a snoop!. (Personal laptops are welcome!) We’ll be learning some scrapbooking skills: how to design a public relations board for camp fairs as well as our own personal scrapbook of summer memories or favorite movies, vacation spots, etc. Remember, this camp begins with a half hour lunch, eating while chatting about the day’s activities.
