NEWS REPORTERS: Campus Newspaper 2nd - 6th grade $225.00 Summer camp needs a newspaper—this is your chance to be on the ground floor. Join us as we create a newspaper—we even have to name it! Will it be the Imagine That! Journal? The Summer Camp Sun? I wonder. This will be your newspaper — that means with lots of your views and thoughts on life events and camp events. We’ll have deadlines to meet. We’ll learn interviewing skills; using the computer to design headlines and articles; honing our skills as we use the internet to review the latest kid movie and books and maybe review some favorite kid friendly vacation spots, some photography work; plenty of teamwork, and we’ll set aside a place to show our work. Papers will be distributed weekly ... So, join the fun and be a snoop!. (Personal laptops are welcome!) Session 2, Danielle Girius will lead this pack of news reporters. She is a special ed teacher at Mountain Ridge High School as well as an instructor at Grand Canyon University. Danielle is one of our past fantastic sports camp teachers. Welcome back Danielle!!!
