KID ART MASTERPIECES
This camp is full of fun art activities centered around some of our great artists such as Pollack, Monet and VanGogh. Each day a new letter will be introduced alphabetically and be added to our own ABC gallery of fine art. Jackson Pollack’s abstract and action painting will be decorated on an apron! What better way to celebrate letter “A”. And, of course, we will eat animal crackers, dabble in army of ants art and try an air science experience and maybe even try to make our own applesauce! We’ll be having so much fun that we won’t even realize that we are introducing/reinforcing phonetic awareness and reading skills! Please join Science and Art Whiz Karen Bakken and her wonderful year round teaching partner Julie George…..from PVUMC preschool. Karen also teaches a very popular afterschool enrichment art class….This camp was new last year and got great reviews and is sure to be busy, fun and a camp hit!
