GAME DAZE Grades: 2nd-6th $165.00 Are you a garu of games? Do you delight in figuring out the game strategy to win? Do you like to try new and different ones as well as the old tried and true games of yesterday? Join us as we try new games, old games, one person games, groups games, card games, board games, word games, team games, games of chance, games of skill, games of just plain fun! Each day we will try our hand at three or more different games. We will look at which ones are most fun and try to figure out why. What makes a good game, and which ones will last a life time. For the kids participating, it will be fun and entertaining, but don’t let that fool you. We will be strengthening vocabulary skills, reading and writing skills, and of course basic math as well. (Don’t worry kids—you’ll never know it! But mom might let you play a few of the games at home too!) Children must have strong reading skills—recommended for grades two and up. Join Lori Wiggs, last year’s popular Camp Narnia teacher, and previous coordinator of the Summer Recreation programs for the cities of Glendale and Phoenix, for this fast paced, fun filled afternoon camp.
