COUNT ON COOKING
With Teacher Diane and Teacher Nora. Come join our classroom where kids learn the basics of cooking and have a whole lot of fun. We will explore many topics such as math, science, and read a different story everyday. Art, literature & cooking yummy treats. Yum! Mix a dash of science and you create Thunder Cake or add math and you’ve got Chicka chicka 1,2,3 and mix it with art and voila! Pancakes, pancakes! Both sessions are filled with stories galore, brought to life in science, art and cooking activities! What fun! Teacher Diane O’Connell teaches in the EDK program at PVUMC preschool as well as offers a very popular cooking enrichment class in the afternoons. Teacher Nora is Diane’s daughter, as well as an elementary social worker in the Gilbert Public Schools. (Offered for the first time last year, & got great reviews!)
