Elementary Camps Session I AM

Counselor-In-Training

7th & 8th Grades $190.00

Welcome to our very first C.I.T. group! These are our oldest campers who LOVE the camp, have had at least one year with Imagine That! and come well recommended by a camp teacher or current teacher. If you are selected, you will be going through some leadership training, peer mediator training and, of course, assist for a few hours a day, in one of our camps. It takes a special girl or guy who LOVES to work with younger kids, playing games or helping in art activities or possibly reading a story, but who also doesn’t mind doing some of the grunt work of a camp ie. set up for water day or wash out those paint brushes, etc. , and who has a really POSITIVE OUTLOOK on life. And we’ll also learn a little First Aid skills. You will be under the general direction of Tani Eley, camp counselor extraordinaire, certified teacher and current Sequoya’s Yearbook Coordinator and past teacher of our popular Celebrations camp from last year, but also reporting to specific camp teachers. Approximately 2 hours of each day can be counted toward community service hours as well as at the end of camp, you will receive a written recommendation based on your performance. There is a limited number of spots…..
