Session Sorry - Camp Closed Session I 9:00 AM to 12 PM Grades: 7th & 8th COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING Welcome to C.I.T.’s third year! Last year was amazing! Our C. I.T.’s did a fantastic job! These are our oldest campers who LOVE the camp, have had at least one year with Imagine That! and come well recommended by a camp teacher or current teacher. If you are selected, you will be going through some leadership training, peer mediator training and, of course, assist for a few hours a day, in one of our camps. It takes a special girl or guy who LOVES to work with younger kids, playing games or helping in art activities or possibly reading a story, but who also doesn’t mind doing some of the grunt work of a camp ie. set up for water day or wash out those paint brushes, etc. , and who has a really POSITIVE OUTLOOK on life. You will be under the general direction of Tani Eley, camp counselor extraordinaire and certified elementary teacher, but also reporting to specific camp teachers. Approximately 2 hours of each day can be counted toward community service hours as well as at the end of camp, you will receive a written recommendation based on your performance.
