We will use marvelous literature as a springboard into amazing art projects! There is no limit to where their imaginations will take them in this class! For example, Verdi, a story about a young snake trying not to grow up like the old ones, becomes a brilliant karo syrup marble roll of green and yellow paint. Brown Bear, Brown Bear becomes brown, squishy, coffee ground filled playdough. If you love a great story and art, this is the camp for you. Karen Bakken offers an art program for young children at P.V.U.M.C. preschool during the school year. New stories and art projects each session. |
